WHAT WE DO
The communications team works corporately to inform residents about services and facilities and to promote the Council's reputation. The team is responsible for:
- A-Z of services
- Campaigns
- Corporate branding
- Filming permission (with Kelly Barnard)
- Graphic design
- Internal communications
- Marketing (with Judy Simpson)
- Media relations
- Noticeboards co-ordination (with Environmental Protection)
- Pensioners' Forum
- Plain English (with Jeanne Mock)
- Proof reading (with Jeanne Mock)
- Publications
- Three Rivers Times
- Training (marketing, web and press release/copy writing)
- Web strategy and editorial
- Youth Council
Who's Who
Communications is located in Corporate Services (Head of Service - Phil King). This is within the Corporate Resources and Governance department.
Diane Bugeja, Graphic Designer x7268
Publications and posters, corporate branding, noticeboards co-ordination, filming permissions (with Kelly Barnard); Our Climate is Changing web development and editorial (with Katherine Frost).
Ryan Watson, Communications Officer x7334
Key responsibilities: media relations, Three Rivers Times (editor); environmental protection (with Jennie Probert); community safety comms (with Nikki Stageman); Youth Council; Pensioners' Forum.
Kevin Snow, Communications Manager x7255
Key responsibilties: web and e-strategy, media relations, training, publications, proof reading, plain English.
The team works closely with the Leisure Marketing Manager, Judy Simpson and the Documents Manager, Jeanne Mock.
