Introduction to Shared Services ICT
Since 1 April 2010, Shared Services ICT staff are providing ICT support for both Watford Borough Council (WBC) and Three Rivers District Council (TRDC). Shared Services ICT are based at TRDC Offices in Rickmansworth however, an IT support presence will remain at Watford.

Helpdesk software implementation:
As part of the Shared Services programme of work ICT have upgraded their existing Helpdesk and call management system. Features that will be available to you are:
- Automated call reference distribution
- Email correspondence regarding the resolution and closure of calls logged
- Ability to complete online customer satisfaction surveys
Future features will include the expansion of the self service portal, which will allow members of staff to log their own calls and track them via a web browser.
Three Rivers staff should continue to use the existing CRF’s (Change Request Form) or alternatively contact the helpdesk using the methods above. Please be aware that you will no longer have to supply your employee number when logging a call.
